In addition to its past products, Baspar Lia Company has rolled out its new products at Mpex Exhibition. The News leather and shoe Industrial magazine had an interview with Ramin Sadr, the vice president of Baspar Lia Company, about attending this Exhibition.
On the products rolled out at the Mpex Exhibition, Ramin Sadr said: “At the Mpex Exhibition, we presented all our products in the field of leather and shoes. But due to the fact that we are a knowledge-based company, and we produce some of our raw materials we needed, we also rolled out these raw materials in the Exhibition. At the Mpex Exhibition, a special type of oil and new solvent-based additives for making shoes PU were presented as new products of Baspar Lia Company”.
In a reply to the question of what is the purpose of your attending most of the Exhibitions, Ramin Sadr said: “Considering the current situation, it is not possible for us to meet all customers face-to-face, while such a meeting is a necessity for us. Therefore, the Exhibition provides an opportunity to meet our customers, especially those who are in the countries. We invite them to visit our booth in the Exhibition and we will meet and talk with them so that if they have any problems, they can share with us, and if we have a solution, we will offer them. In addition, if we have new products, we will definitely roll out for them. Our presence at the Exhibition is not just for sales, and is mostly customer orientation. This year’s Exhibition was also a great opportunity to meet our customers”.
Attending the Exhibition in Line with Customer Orientation
In an answer to the question whether you also had exports at the exhibition, the vice president of Baspar Lia Company said: “Unfortunately, we did not export and one of the weak points of the Exhibition was the lack of foreign customers. Of course, it seems that the Saudi ambassador was present at the Exhibition and a meeting was also held. Saudi Arabia is considered a good export capacity for our country. After that they invited us to announce our export facilities to them, and we also sent the list of our facilities to Mr. Lashkari and we are waiting for an answer. Of course, a customer from Turkmenistan attended our booth. Apart from this one case, we did not have any other customers or visitors from abroad”.
On the meeting that was held to present a solution to the exporting of our products to Russia, Sadr further said: “A seminar was held a little while ago for those who plan to export products to Russia. It should be considered, however, that these exports are not only related to shoes, but they must also come from its production chain. The main goal was to bring shoemakers together to present their portfolios at the booths. We, manufacturers of raw materials, are the upstream chain of the shoe industry. By the way, no special work has been done in relation to the export of raw materials and chemicals for the shoe industry. In the Qom Exhibition, solutions are going to be presented on how the production chain before making of shoes can export. In practice, that meeting had no output for us, but in any case, we got a brief acquaintance with Russia’s conditions for export.”
Attending the Exhibition in Qom
“The next Exhibition in which we will be present is the Qom Exhibition, which will be held on November 21th. In the time period until the Qom Exhibition will be held, if we have new products, we will definitely roll out them in this Exhibition. Otherwise, we will also be present in the Qom Exhibition with the same products of the Mpex Exhibition”, He further added.
